Re: Lost McCartney album??? Posted by: Keith (98.21.133.154) Date: January 11, 2010 at 8:23 am Message id: 6496 - Actually, there are several "lost" McCartney albums...the 1972/73-era studio album, "Wings Over Europe"--the live album recorded during Wings' 1972 European tour, where "The Mess" was recorded-- and the late '80's album produced by Phil Ramone with Billy Joel's backing band...none released.
Oh, and let's not forget the remainder of the David Foster-produced songs...again late-80's vintage, of which "We Got Married" was originally part of and Foster claimed was the "weakest of the bunch".
Plus....let's not forget Paul's "Cold Cuts" project which has been on and off for decades! Add to that all the b-sides and bonus tracks that have been released in various parts of the world but haven't come to light in the U.S.
Whew...
Namaste,
keith
